~Deviant Log Stardate 61793.3~

It's been a few months since my last entry. A lot has happened, but not everything happened all at once. I landed the role of the tutor in Medea. It honestly was a lot of fun to work on, and I received a lot of praise for my performance.

Last weekend, I went home for a few reasons. (1) I wanted to check up on my mom to see how she was doing. She just had a hysterectomy a couple weeks ago. She's still kinda tired, but she's back on her feet and resumed most of her normal activity. (2) I wanted to drop some stuff off. One of the big hassles at the end of the year is packing everything up, and clearing my room of some miscellaneous junk is really gonna help with the process. (3) BotCon was in Cincinnati. I'm probably not going to get another opportunity like that in a long time. I didn't get too much, but I still spent more than I planned on. It was worth it, tho. I got autographs from the three voice actors there, a couple comic books, the Music Label Soundwave MP3 player, and Lockdown from TF: Animated. It was also cool seeing the cosplayers, but it was a little baffling as most of them were girls.
There was also a surprise when I got home. My sisters and I saw Monty Python's Spamalot on stage. The show was hilarious and I had a great seat.

Now, it's the final week of the semester. It's coming close to finals, and I'm actually getting my act together. I've caught up on several assignments, and I don't think I'll have a problem passing. I might have to drop the film minor, tho. More on that as it develops.

On another note, I've taken my first step into "professional" voice acting. I auditioned for an animated version of Transformers: The War Within, and got the roles of Powerglide and Red Alert. They're not large roles, but it's getting my name out there and opens the door for more roles at the same website in the future.

I'm going to try and upload some more photographs once the semester is over. For now, it's back to work.
